We only do 10 birthdays a year, since we only run the railway for fun, we are all volunteers and since it’s so popular we get booked up very quickly.
How does it work?
For £150 for the first 20 children, then £5 a head up to a maximum of 30 children.
You get the use of the railway just for yourselves from 13:00 to 14:30
After 14:30 you still get free rides but you have to queue with the paying public.
We provide a gazebo with tables and chairs.
The birthday child gets to drive a lap of the track on one of our club electric locomotives, under supervision.
12:00 – 13:00 – set up party
13:00 – 14:30 – Allow children on ride on the railway. (Exclusively for your party)
14:00 ish – The birthday child’s train drive.
14:30 – 15:00 – Have your food.
15:00 – 17:00 – Party over but all children can ride the railway for free. (With supplied wrist band)
16:00 – Gazeebo must be cleared and all rubbish removed from site.
These timings give you maximum use of the railway since public running starts at 14:30, whilst you are eating.
