Train Rides 2025
We offer train rides during British Summer Time 2025 (Sunday 30th March until Sunday 26th October) at Roxbourne Railway every Sunday from 2:30pm to 5pm, weather permitting. Generally we can run in light rain, please check our Facebook page for details if the weather is poor.
Rides cost £2 per person – no need for advance booking! Please note, young children must be accompanied during the rides. We accept cash (no £50 notes) and card payments. We ask customers to remain seated at all times, to keep their feet firmly on the running boards and not to grab anything.
We have an ever growing family of soft toys which we arrange around the railway. Take a ride and see how many you can spot!
Brio Railway
For smaller people, we have a Brio railway which you are welcome to play with. BRIO is a Swedish wooden toy company, best known for its wooden toy trains. The ones we have are non-motorized and suitable for younger children. The cars connect with magnets and are easy to manipulate. Since this photo was taken, we added a lot more track so you can make some complicated layouts.
